Everett has met the requirements and pursues continuing education to maintain his designation of Certified Professional Inspector (C.P.I.) under the authority of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).

Everett has completed the training specified by The International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants to be a Certified Radon and Mold Consultant. He has also passed the National Residential Radon Measurement Provider Examination administered by the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists.
To complete receive the Thermal Certification, Everett had to complete courses in building science and infrared thermography.
Everett underwent a rigorous background check conducted by the Department Of Homeland Security and additional inspector training to subcontract as a Federal Emergency Response Offical.

Everett is an FAA Certified Unmanned Aerial System Pilot. This certification allows for the use of drones for business purposes.

Everett graduated with honors from Shawnee State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Social Science. He then attended graduate school at the University of Dayton where he studied International Relations.
After graduating from high school Everett joined the US Army Reserves. He spent 17 years in the Army's Ordnance Corps as an Ammunition Specialist specializing in the management of ordnance (ammunition and explosives). In 2005 he was deployed to the Iraq/Kuwaiti border where he assisted in supervising the amnesty program.
Everett served as Clay Laboratories night manager. His duties included overseeing the collection of coal samples from trains and barges and conducting laboratory analysis of the coal.
A natural researcher, Everett has always had a love of reading and learning. Early in his career, he served as manager at the W. Gordon Ryan Branch Library in Lucasville, OH.
Everett's passion for books can only be matched by his love of construction and Real Estate. After graduating from college. Everett worked as a liaison between a general contractor and subcontractors in the construction of 28 homes for the Portsmouth Metropolitan Housing Authority. From site layout, footings, foundations, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC to the final shingle on the roof, Everett was involved in each phase of construction. Everett has also been an active real estate investor who has purchased homes and multi-unit apartment buildings for investments.
Everett's inquiring mind and his lifelong involvement in construction and real estate has culminated in his current passion - inspecting homes. Everett regularly attends home inspection seminars and conferences around the country to expand his knowledge of building science. Most home inspectors are from the construction trades and few can match Everett's academic credentials or his analytical abilities to identify, analyze and clearly report the implications of various defects.
